Police in Greenwhich say they’ve charged a New Jersey man with manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash last year.

The crash happened on the evening of Nov. 19.

According to police, Jeffrey Bodnar turned himself in Wednesday.

Police say Bodnar drove his tractor-trailer off Exit 3 on I-95 southbound and ran a red light at the end of the off ramp, plowing into a car driven by 38-year-old Christina Vomoca, of Stamford.

Vomoca was a hair stylist who was on her way home from work with a friend.

Her friend survived, but Vomoca died from injuries suffered in the crash.
