Greenwich residents were seen enjoying Tuesday's warmer weather after a stretch of bitter-cold temperatures.
People were out shopping and eating again on Greenwich Avenue after staying inside and avoiding anything that required more than a 20-second walk since Christmas Day, the last time temperatures were above freezing.
A handful of people were actually seen wearing shorts amid high temperatures in the low-40s. Others had their winter coats in hand and took off their hats and gloves.
Restaurant and shop owners say Tuesday was the first day that they've seen significant foot traffic for the past two weeks.
High temperatures are expected to continue rising throughout the week.
