Greenwich Selectman Drew Marzullo is seeking re-election in November despite being stuck in some legal issues.
According to the Greenwich Time, Marzullo applied for the state's accelerated rehabilitation program.
It comes after police say he was caught shoplifting from a Sketchers shoe store and the J. Crew at a Clinton outlet mall.
Marzullo has served as a selectman since 2009.
