Greenwich teen’s cookie nonprofit raises thousands for children in need
So far the nonprofit organization has raised over $66,000 for children's healthcare and education.

A Greenwich teen has started a nonprofit that is helping to raise thousands for children in need.
Vihaan Kamath is about to be a high school senior. Between doing his homework and participating in school sports, Kamath still has time for his nonprofit Cookie for a Cause, which he started last year in April.
"From April 2025 to December 2025, we raised $20,000, which is phenomenal. I didn't even think we were going to get that far," said Kamath.
The organization partners with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Yale New Haven Children's Hospital to support children with cancer.
Cookie for a Cause has also helped almost 1,000 children with medical care, school supplies and daily necessities.
By the end of this year, they hope to raise $100,000. So far, they've raised $66,331.
Kamath's father, Ravish Kamath, said he never thought the idea would grow to what it is today, and he's proud of the impact it's had.
"Every time a large donation or order comes in, he's generally very excited, regardless of how big or small it is," he says.
