Greenwich welcomed its newest addition to the community yesterday.
Jackson Thomas Hallam was the first baby born at Greenwich Hospital in the new year.
He came into the world around 1:00 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Parents Tom and Katie Hallam say that although Jackson was born a week past his due date, they were glad he waited until New Year's Day to arrive.
