Hamden police: Fairfield drive-by shooter arrested

It happened on Thursday night. The Fairfield Quality of Life Unit said Christopher Naber drove by his ex-partner’s house and shot several bullets at a parked vehicle.

Hamden police arrested a man following a drive-by shooting on North Benson Road and Barlow Road in Fairfield.
It happened on Thursday night. The Fairfield Quality of Life Unit said Christopher Naber drove by his ex-partner’s house and shot several bullets at a parked vehicle.
Naber had been involved in a domestic violence incident one month prior in Hamden, according to police.
Police said an active protective order was in place to protect the victim from Naber at the time of the incident.
With the assistance of multiple police departments, Naber was taken into custody after a search warrant was conducted.
Naber is charged with possession of a firearm, violation of a protection order and weapons in a motor vehicle.
Hamden police said Naber is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
