All eyes were on Tropical Storm Hanna as it hit southwestern Connecticut Saturday.

The storm lost some of its past intensity as it moved through the region in Stamford, Darien, Norwalk and Westport.

A flash-flooding warning was issued for Fairfield County and for people in flood-prone areas statewide. A tornado warning was also issued Saturday night, but was canceled around 9 p.m.

The annual Norwalk Oyster Festival at Veteran's Park was canceled Saturday as a result of the storm. However, it will fully resume Sunday.

United Illuminating was also ready with extra equipment and crews on call to fix any reported outages.

Connecticut's marinas made preparations for Hanna. The director of Captain's Cove Marina in Bridgeport encouraged people to check on their boats and tie their lines.
