The head of a Greenwich-based nonprofit group is being honored for his work helping others in the community.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch presented Joe Kaliko, of the Needs Clearing House, with a certificate of recognition from the U.S. Senate.
The ceremony at Bridgeport City Hall included many people Kaliko has helped during the past year since founding the organization.
Kaliko says he is thrilled to receive the honor.
