The rainstorm swept in Sunday and lasted several hours throughout the morning and afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for both Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Servpro says they responded to 12 calls across Fairfield county during the storm; mostly for flooded basements.
Department of Transportation cameras in Stratford on Sunday, captured a motorist stranded in several inches of water near the I-95 exit 30 off-ramp.
Bridgeport also saw heavy rainfall but drivers luckily didn't get stuck in the floodwaters.
Stamford drivers weren't as lucky and some cars stalled in floodwaters underneath a bridge near East Main Street and Myrtle Avenue.
It's much drier Monday but rain is expected later in the week and could damper holiday spirits on Halloween.
