A Bridgeport family is asking for help to pay for funeral expenses after a woman died from her injuries suffered in a fire.
Marisol Estrada died yesterday and her 2-year-old daughter Allianna Ramon remains critically injured.
The fire started Sunday morning at an apartment complex on Washington Avenue.
Officials say they had a hard time reaching the victims because of clutter in their apartment. They say there were large piles of clothing stacked to nearly the ceiling.
The father, Jose Ramon, was able to escape from the building and is said to be in good condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
Officials say the couple has two other children, but they were not home at the time.
