A new program in Stamford launched on Thursday will help give support to women of all ages.
Her Time is the sister program of Hang Time, created in 2017 in Bridgeport by retired police Detective Charles Grady.
The program initially began to help women who were incarcerated or impacted by the justice system.
Her Time helps women in New Haven, Waterbury and now in Stamford.
The program's theme is to give women a safe place to unwind, unite and unify.
"No judgements, always sisterhood that’s why we uplift one another, we're there for each other and unify,” said Mary Valdovinos, a program manager at Her Time Stamford.
The program is open to all women in the community.
