Over 400 high school athletes from 10 different schools in southwestern Connecticut gathered at Norwalk Harbor for the Crew Fall Sprint on Sunday.
Crew teams from Greenwich, Fairfield, Norwalk and Westport came to compete in the sprint race, which was hosted by the New Canaan team. The teams raced 130 boats and demonstrated speed, muscle and teamwork.
According to the crew from Fairfield Prep, the biggest challenge of the race is the sharp turns in the harbor. But that didn't seem to get in their way; they made out with two gold medals.
