Connecticut?s newest Congressman, Democrat Jim Himes, was sworn in Tuesday by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to represent the Fourth District.
Himes won the seat in November after beating 21-year incumbent Republican Chris Shays.
In addition, Himes was also appointed to the House Financial Services Committee.
?The first issue that the committee needs to focus on is to get a stimulus package together, which will start the process of turning around the economy,? said Himes.
