South Orange’s historic Village Hall is getting a massive renovation to turn it into a restaurant and beer hall.

Landmark Hospitality Group bought the 19th-century building about six years ago.

The beer hall will be where the old fire engines were once stored. The other section of the building will be made into a classic tavern.

The Village Hall Restaurant and Pump House Beer will open this spring.
