Fifty Holy Cross School students will get to cheer on the Yankees at the ticker-tape parade on Friday.
The students are receiving the special gift for raising $30,000 to save stained glass windows at their school. The sixth-graders raised the most money out of the entire school by selling raffle tickets.
The father of the school had promised a trip to the class who raised the most money; and since the Yankees won the World Series, he figured going the parade would be the most rewarding gift.
