Milford firefighters are working to find the cause of a house fire.
The incident happened at a home on Southworth Street around 8 a.m. this morning. Firefighters say the damage was so bad that the house is unlivable.
"The Red Cross is coming to the scene; they are going to help them with anything that they need for food, water, for living arraignments and stuff like that," says Capt. Christopher Zak, of the Milford Fire Department.
Firefighters say one person in the home was taken to the hospital to get checked out, along with a firefighter.
