A homeless man is accused of lighting a fire at the site of a former Milford restaurant.
Thomas Macksey, 63, was charged with reckless burning and criminal mischief.
On Wednesday, Macksey, who police say is homeless, allegedly placed a cardboard box on a gas meter at the former Tilted Kilt building on Old Gate Lane and lit it on fire.
Macksey was arrested after police responded to the scene for 911 calls about the fire.
The fire caused minor damage to the outside of the building, but no one was hurt.
Macksey has an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a breach of peace charge in Milford from September.
He is being held on a $3,000 bond.
