Family and friends gathered tonight to say farewell to drowning victim Catherine Celina Perez Trujillo at Luz de Paz funeral home in Bridgeport.
A wake was held for the 10-year-old girl earlier tonight. She drowned in Lake Mohegan on Tuesday.
Luz de Paz funeral home said it was expecting its biggest turnout ever for a child.
Funeral home worker Edgar Rodriguez says he has received more than $7,500 in donations to be given to the family, along with a lavish urn to hold the child's ashes.
A funeral will be held at St. Peters Church in Bridgeport tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
