? Hundreds of people showed up to the walk-in H1N1 flu vaccine clinic in Westport Wednesday.
The director for the health department says the first person arrived at the Westport-Weston Health Department before 8 a.m. to secure a spot in line. The line still wrapped around to the parking lot into the evening hours.
The Westport-Weston Health Department says it has about 400 doses of the injectable vaccine and more than 300 of the flu mist. Volunteers are giving the shots and nasal spray to patients who meet the state?s eligibility requirements. This includes pregnant women, children six months to 18 years, anyone living with or caring for an infant and health care professionals.
The health director says they aren't going to schedule the next clinic until they have the vaccine on hand.
