Police are conducting an investigation after a school-aged individual gained entry to Wilton High School, resulting in a concerning social media post about a shooter that turned out to be a false alarm.

Authorities have confirmed that the individual, who is not a student at the high school, entered the premises, although it was not through an unlocked door. Upon the discovery of the intruder, school administrators activated their security protocols, and the individual left the school shortly thereafter.

Law enforcement officers located the alleged intruder off-campus and transferred them into the custody of a parent. Police have emphasized that no threats were made during the incident, and everyone within the school remains safe.
