Fairfield native John Mayer will be returning to his home state for a concert at Bridgeport's Seaside Park later this year.

The Bridgeport-born musician will headline the Sound On Sound Music Festival, which is taking place Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

Mayer is the first artist to be announced for the 2023 lineup.

The rest of the lineup is expected to be announced on Feb. 14.
