A judge has delayed the sentencing of a Connecticut man for his role in the notorious French Connection drug ring in the early 70s.
Alfred Catino, 75, of Danbury, was to be sentenced today for being one of 16 people arrested on drug charges in Connecticut back in 2012.
The French Connection was a major supplier of heroin into the U.S. and inspired the 1971 movie of the same name.
Catino's lawyer says sentencing has been postponed a month because his client took issue with a pre-sentence investigation.
