A judge has ordered a scrapyard in Bridgeport to close amid a barrage of complaints by local residents.
Officials say Lajoie's Auto and Scrap Recycling on Eagle Street exceeded zoning restrictions on the height of their scrap piles.
Jim Murphy, who runs the company, says the Zoning Department gave him approval. He says he is now considering filing a lawsuit against the City of Bridgeport.
