Judge tosses 2 charges against Fairfield teacher accused of exposing himself

A judge has thrown out two of six charges against a Fairfield teacher accused of exposing himself to a student.
The judge says there wasn't enough evidence to move forward with those charges against Jeff Iwanicki, one of which was public indecency.
Iwanicki is a graphic arts teacher at Fairfield Warde High School. He was accused of unzipping his pants and showing a female student his genitals in 2016.
Two students that were in the room at the time of one of the alleged incidents say that Iwanicki did not expose himself.
Prosecutors claimed details of those students' stories changed, and suggested they were trying to protect a teacher with whom they're friends.
Iwanicki will speak at his next trial on Feb. 1. The next hearing was delayed due to inclement weather on Thursday.
The jury will receive the case on Feb. 4.
