Jury selection is set to begin this week in the federal trial of former Gov. John Rowland.
Prosecutors say Rowland created secret consultant roles for two congressional campaigns in order to hide his involvement in the campaigns.
Rowland pleaded not guilty and says he did nothing wrong.
He was released from prison in 2006 after serving 10 months on a corruption charge.
