Two men convicted of murdering a Bridgeport man in front of his daughter last year were handed their sentences today.

In April 2011, 35-year-old Darrell Geyer was shot in his Wood Avenue apartment, with his 14-month-daughter by his side. Authorities say the victim's cousin, Lawrence Perry, planned the murder while accomplice Antwone Sharpe pulled the trigger.

Sharpe was sentenced to 30 years for felony murder. Perry was given 20 years for conspiracy to commit murder since, according to the judge, he was the mastermind behind the shooting.

Geyer's wife was not in court today because she has since moved out of Connecticut.
