The Kiwanis Club of Weston held their first ever Dog Jamboree at the town's middle school in Weston.
People entered their dogs into different contests like ‘Best Tail Wagger,’ ‘Best Dressed,’ and ‘Most Looks Like Owner.’
The event also had food trucks, dog demonstrations and seminars.
Roy Marsh, the President of Weston Kiwanis, says 50 percent of the funds raised are going to go to Hurlbutt Elementary School for a new playground. The other 50 percent is going into the Kiwanis Foundation.
The Kiwanis Club hopes to make this dog friendly event a yearly tradition.
