Gov. Ned Lamont says the state will be creating the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Board, which will be made up of businesses and scientists and prioritize getting people back to work.
 
 
BRIEFING NOTES:
- There are 13, 381 cases of coronavirus in the state, which includes an increase of 1,346 new cases in the past 24 hours. There have been 48 deaths related to the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total to 602 deaths.
- Lamont says number of tests have also increased.
- He says about 40,000 residents in Connecticut are without electricity, mostly in Eversource areas.
- Lamont says the state will be creating the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Board. He says it will be made up of businesses and scientists, and will focus on health outcomes, analytics, clinical lab work and mobile technology to prioritize getting people back to work.
- Lamont says the state is in better shape when it comes to ventilators. He says the state should be able to manage the need for N95 masks for the next week.
