There is new information on the relationship between the suspected gunman and his mother.
Nancy Lanza told her divorce attorney in 2009 that she did not like to leave her son alone.
She said Adam had been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and she would take care of him for as long as he needed it.
Nancy and Peter Lanza divorced when their son was 17.
His father and brother reportedly had not seen Adam since 2010.
