Looking for a fun spot to take the kids this spring break? News 12 heads to the Connecticut Science Center where learning and fun go hand in hand.

Right in Downtown Hartford, families and science fans can enjoy a wonderful day trip exploring the four floors of exhibits including biology and health care. The center also houses an engineering lab and a new exhibit called the Science Fiction Science Future highlighting science-fiction and technology.

There's even a forensics lab where visitors can learn about genetics among many other exhibits.

The Connecticut Science Center invites you to witness the April 8 Solar Eclipse with them on their plaza. Eclipse events will take place all day. Advance tickets are recommended as space is limited.
