When firefighters arrived, they found a lithium-ion battery pack actively burning inside a bedroom. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and conducted a thorough investigation to ensure no hazards remained from the battery.
The fire was contained to the battery pack and the room where it started, according to Long Hill Fire.
Earlier in the day, Long Hill Fire also provided mutual aid to the Easton Fire Department at a separate house fire. The department said crews handled 18 calls for service throughout the storm.
