A little boy helped rescue a dog in trouble in Stratford.
The boy was playing in his grandmother's yard when he spotted a dog trapped in a culvert.
The fire department was able to get the dog out, however he suffered a herniated disc.
The dog is currently resting at the shelter until he can be reunited with his owners.
