A recent decision by Live Nation to end the popular Lawnies Pass program has fans across the state in uproar. The pass offered flat rate lawn seating to shows all summer for $239. The new change impacts upcoming shows at popular New Jersey venues, PNC Bank Arts Center and Freedom Mortgage Pavillion. Alan Berg, Williamstown, is one of many prior Lawnie Pass holders sharing his distaste. "What I loved about the Lawn Passes is it let me see all these groups that I never would’ve thought to see on my own," said Berg. "But now I’m only gonna go see like maybe two or three at this venue at most." Live Nation responded to News 12 about the recent change saying: "We are working on new and exciting programs for the summer concert season. New programs will be announced on an ongoing basis. We are so grateful to our Lawnie community and prior Lawnie Passholders will be the first to hear about these new offerings." "It’s been two months since that announcement and I have yet to get an email from Live Nation," said Berg. Live Nation recently released a statement saying that it is supportive of the executive order President Trump signed at the end of last month on ticket resales. It aims to protect fans from ticket scalping and target bots that buy concert tickets in bulk and resell them.
