Central High School in Bridgeport was locked down Friday morning and two teens are in police custody following reports of a student possessing a gun in the building.
Superintendent John Ramos says a loaded gun was found in one of the students backpacks, which he was wearing at the time. Another student was also arrested.
Students say police came to the school at around 8:30 a.m. with the K-9 unit. Students were told to stay inside classrooms and anyone outside the building was not allowed in.
