The Prospector Theater in Ridgefield is getting ready to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
The nonprofit theater focuses on providing a place where people with disabilities could shine and flourish.
Seventy percent of the theater's employees have a disability.
"People with disabilities are incredibly talented, capable, motivated, hardworking and loyal," said owner Valerie Jensen. "They put 100 percent of everything they have into their job."
In addition to helping those with disabilities, the Prospector Theater is also built on the site of the old Ridgefield Playhouse and closely resembles the old-time movie house.
