Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz says her brother is "making great progress" after he was hit by a car while riding a bike in November.
John Bysiewicz was seriously injured in a hit-and-run. The driver was found and charged.
In a Twitter update, the lieutenant governor says her brother's casts are off and he's learning how to walk.
She calls him, "The most determined, courageous, and optimistic person that I know."
