'Mad Dog' Russo offers take on Tiger Woods' future after major crash

As Tiger woods continues his recovery from a serious car crash that left him with major injuries, News 12 reached out to Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo, a Connecticut resident, for his thoughts on the ordeal.
The golf legend was driving alone through a sweeping, downhill stretch of road through coastal suburbs of Los Angeles when his SUV struck a sign, crossed over a raised median and two oncoming lanes flipped several times before coming to rest on its side. Its airbags deployed. Doctors say Woods shattered his tibia and fibula bones in his right leg in several spots. They say he had a rod placed in his leg and screws and pins in his ankle.
"The bottom line is he was probably speeding and I would think that has something to do with it,” said Russo. “I don't know what this means for his career. I would never say no to Tiger as far as bouncing back. You know, he probably wasn't going to play a lot early in the year anyway."
Woods has had several back surgeries and indicated Sunday that he probably wasn't going to play in the Masters.
