A Westport man is expected in court today for allegedly scamming a Fairfield man out of $35,000 for a scam involving dirt from the original Yankee Stadium.
Police say Mark Hayward was arrested earlier this month after he convinced the victim to invest in a business that would market key chains containing dirt from the old stadium.
Officers say they had been investigating Hayward since May.
