A Shelton man faced a judge today on charges that he robbed a Westport bank last week.
James Watson, 44, is accused of robbing the Citibank on Post Road last Friday. Watson allegedly walked into the bank, showed the teller a knife and a note and demanded money.
Police say they found the trench coat, hat and knife he used about a mile away.
Watson is being held on $50,000 bail and is due again in court in Stamford on Jan. 11.
