Man facing charges after chase
One man is facing drug charges after police say he led officers on a high-speed chase on I-95. Police say the chase began around 2:30 a.m. at the Fairfield rest area on the northbound side of the highway.

One man is facing drug charges after police say he led officers on a high-speed chase on I-95.
Police say the chase began around 2:30 a.m. at the Fairfield rest area on the northbound side of the highway.
They say Shawn Welch, 37, then got off the highway in Stratford only to get back onto the southbound side of I-95.
Police say they were able to stop Welch near exit 27.
