Wilfredo Martinez, 24, pleaded guilty today after accepting a plea deal in a fatal July 2011 shooting that left one man dead.
Martinez was accused of shooting and killing 20-year-old Noel Gonzalez outside Gonzalez's home last year.
Under the deal, Martinez pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the second degree and carrying a pistol without a permit. He faces up to 15 years in prison and a $15,000 fine.
Martinez is scheduled to be sentenced on July 27. The other man accused in the case, Jose Rivera, is expected to appear in court next month.
