Police are searching for a man accused of robbing multiple people and stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry.

Investigators say the suspect used a gun to rob a customer at a store on Central Avenue Monday afternoon.

Later that night, the same man allegedly crashed a barbecue on South 10th Street and demanded jewelry and belongings from several people.

Newark police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to contact them.
