The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk held a ribbon cutting for its new 4D theater Monday.
Gov. Ned Lamont and Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling attended the ceremony. The aquarium's new 4D movie theater is the replacement for their IMAX Theater.
That one will be knocked down to make room for the Walk Railroad Bridge construction project nearby.
The new 169-seat theater offers 3D visuals and sensory special effects including snow, bubbles, wind, mists and scents.
