The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is kicking off a week's worth of whale-centered exhibits Saturday. Among the attractions are a 45-foot-long inflatable humpback whale and biology lessons for children.

The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is kicking off a week's worth of whale-centered exhibits Saturday.
Among the attractions are a 45-foot-long inflatable humpback whale and biology lessons for children.
A life-size whale on loan from the National Maritime Sanctuary in Massachusetts will allow viewers to see what the inside of the animals looks like.
Last summer, a pod of real humpback whales made a splash around the region by swimming through the Long Island Sound.
