Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch says that the youth curfew is showing progress in recent anti-violence "community policing" efforts.
City officials say the curfew was put into place this summer and aims to keep kids off the streets after midnight.
The first 6-week-long Youth and Police Initiative Program concluded on Thursday, which also aims to improve relationships.
Police say they have given out curfew warnings, but no tickets yet. They expect that to change soon.
