A memorial service was held at the Joel Barlow High School Saturday to honor a football coach who died from cancer.
Jordan Wright, 40, died last Friday after a 10-year battle with bone cancer.
Wright was the freshman football coach at Joel Barlow High School for eight years, as well as the owner of Redding Ridge Market and Deli and the Redding Roadhouse Restaurant.
People who attended the service say Wright had a big impact in their community. They described Wright as someone who was never dull, a rule breaker and a man who was everyone's cheerleader.
Wright leaves behind his wife and baby daughter.
