A winter weather advisory has been issued for southern Connecticut.
WHAT’S NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says we have a warmer week ahead, but for now it's cold enough to see some snow and ice mixing in. We’ll have about 1-2 inches of wet snow with some ice possible mainly north of I-84. Winter weather advisories are posted for this. There is also a risk of showers overnight.
WHAT'S NEXT: With rain on the way there will be some very soggy days this week. Temperatures will warm into the 40s and even mid-50s. Rain will wrap up by Friday morning. Cooler air will come in later this weekend. Risk of rain again on Sunday. Monday may feature some snow if it's cold enough.

FRIDAY: Early rain, then cloudy. High near 55 degrees.
