A local Metro-North conductor has become a viral video sensation after he was caught on camera being a conductor of other sorts.
In the video taken last Friday, the Yale University Glee Club sings a Christmas carol while riding a train. A few seconds later, Bob McDonough interrupts them in order take on the role of chorale conductor, leading them in a new tune.
He says it's something many people wouldn't expect to see. He also never pictured himself doing that in his 30 years with the railroad.
McDonough says he officially posted the video online Monday, and it has since been viewed more than 1 million times on Facebook.
