Michelle Troconis was at Stamford Superior Court Tuesday but never appeared before a judge.
Instead, prosecutors and the defense spent time in judge's chambers discussing the many pending motions in the case.
That includes ones from each side requesting opposing counsel be removed from the case due to alleged wrongdoings.
Troconis was arrested in connection to the disappearance and presumed death of her former boyfriend's estranged wife Jennifer Dulos.
Charges against Troconis include conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering the prosecution.
She is due back in court Wednesday.
