Mild and dry weekend in Connecticut

Sunny and seasonable today, but rain arrives to start the new week.

A great first half of the weekend is in store across the state. Today will be absolutely perfect for any and all outdoor plans. We are dry, sunny, and seasonable temperature wise! Sunday is a mostly pleasant day with some room for improvement. Expect clouds to build ahead of late-night rain that moves in. Wind will also pick up during Sunday with gusts in the 20-30 mph range. Rain and wind will continue overnight and into the first half of Monday. There will be various opportunities for some raindrops here and there throughout next week. Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday could have another round of some raindrops.
Temperatures are bouncing around for the next several days. Overnight, we will drop into the 40s, but by Saturday night a more comfortable and cool feeling returns with lows in the middle 50s. Saturday will see the middle 60s with Sunday cruising into the lower 70s! A return to seasonable temperatures for Monday and Tuesday with a cool down expected for Wednesday-Friday.
TODAY: Perfect! Sunshine. Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the middle 50s.
SUNDAY: Clouds build and wind increases. Late afternoon rain. Highs in the upper 60s, lows in the middle 50s.
MONDAY: Rain and wind continue. Dries out by afternoon. Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the low 50s.
TUESDAY: Dry start, late afternoon showers. Highs in the middle 60s, lows in the low 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Morning showers. Sun and clouds. Highs in the low 60s, lows in the upper 40s.
